As a multi-disciplinary designer and craftswoman trained and living in Sydney, I believe design is a celebration of material, form, cultural, transparency, art and functionality.
I believe that the existence of every design decision/idea has always been seeded by conscious or subconscious influences coming from an external stimulus. Those stimulus/influences, along with our culture, shapes our appreciation of colour, form and functionality.
With a focus on learning and exploring, I have always been curious about various materials and processes. Learning and being inspired by different making techniques has been one of the biggest joy in my life.
The art and beauty that lies in traditional crafts have a deep and profound influence on my design philosophy. Simple, honest and true to the material has been the driving force in my work.
